Family therapy can help with a variety of family-related concerns, (communication, conflict, ill health, caring responsibilities, parenting struggles) helping people to make positive adjustments in their relationships and lives. During this type of therapy, we will look at the family system, and the relationships between people, rather than the individuals. It encourages family members to comfortably express and explore challenging thoughts and feelings, allowing them to better understand each other's experiences and perspectives, accept each other's needs, and build on their own strengths.
